Our bald eagle was released!

On Saturday, September 24, we released a rehabilitated bald eagle at Jordan Lake.

We have something wonderful to share. The Cedar Waxwing the you guys gave us with amputated metacarpals earlier this year is fostering a baby waxwing. She will pick up berries and regurgitate them into the baby's mouth! Hey, less work for us and its better for the baby!

NEW WILDLIFE CLINIC TO FILL GAP IN WILDLIFE CARE
July 09, 2009

Research Triangle Park, N.C. – The Triangle Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic (TWRC) is a new nonprofit organization formed specifically to provide rehabilitation and medical care for wildlife native to North Carolina. TWRC is responding to the void created by the July closing of the Piedmont Wildlife Clinic, the only area wildlife hospital. TWRC will provide veterinary care for sick, orphaned, and injured wildlife beginning the first week of August 2009.
